With no access to our usual assortment of instruments, the percussion studio at Bard College Conservatory was going to wave goodbye to the semester when the COVID 19 crisis struck. Instead, they took the online college semester to new heights, undertaking the daunting challenge of recording their own EP built entirely on free software (or free trials of software). Helmed by Eric Cha-Beach and Jason Treuting of So Percussion, the Bard Percussion studio presents our online rendition of “Go Placidly with Haste”, a memento to staying calm and collected during this global pandemic.

Proceeds from the album will be donated to the Bard Student Emergency Fund, and the first $200 in purchases will be matched by the percussion faculty:
